Chemist4U was a brand virtually unknown in UK media when I joined as Head of PR, Content and Social.
Within twelve months it was dominating national health headlines.
I built and led a ten-person integrated team across PR, content, social and influencer strategy, developed a hard-working press office and created campaigns that put real patient stories at the centre of a national conversation about weight loss and healthcare access.
The Spark:
Secured the number one share of voice in UK media vs competitors
Grew organic content revenue by fifty percent YoY
Secured Page 1 positions for top 100 focus keywords

Nine out of ten Chemist4U patients on a weight loss journey had been told to just eat less and move more. Outdated, reductive and completely missing the point.
Eat Less Move More… I’m Already Doing It was built to challenge that narrative head-on, putting real patient voices at the centre of a national conversation about weight loss stigma and calling out lazy advice for what it is.
To give the campaign its cultural moment, we brought in global DJ and advocate Fat Tony and Gogglebox star Amy Tapper to front an original anti-bullying house track, released on Spotify and YouTube, with every stream generating a donation to the National Bullying Helpline.
The track lyrics were co-written with the Chemist4U content team and the campaign ran across PR, social, influencer and owned channels.
The result was national coverage across print, broadcast and digital, the number one share of voice in UK weight loss media and a campaign that shifted perception not just of Chemist4U but of the entire weight loss conversation in the UK.
The Spark:
Number one share of voice in UK weight loss media from national print, broadcast and digital coverage
Thousands of social shares and engagements
Direct positive commercial impact

I joined Uswitch as its first senior digital communications hire and built the function from the ground up.
Over four years I grew it into one of the most effective digital PR operations in the UK, delivering 25,000 pieces of media coverage and 16,000 high authority backlinks across Uswitch.com and the wider RVU portfolio.
When the energy crisis hit I led digital PR across regulatory, media and consumer audiences, keeping the brand trusted and visible at one of the most volatile moments in the UK energy market.
The Spark:
25,000 pieces of media coverage
16,000 high authority backlinks
Thousands of Improved ranking positions including P1 for the majority of priority keywords

Confused.com operates in one of the most competitive spaces in UK financial services, where standing out means creating content that goes beyond the product and earns a genuine place in the national conversation. I built and led a digital PR and content strategy that did exactly that.
The approach was built around three pillars. Data journalism that gave journalists something genuinely newsworthy, from Freedom of Information requests to original consumer research that put Confused.com at the centre of the stories people actually wanted to read. Interactive tools like the EV charging point map, which used FOI data to show drivers exactly where to charge their electric vehicle and became a genuine authority asset in a fast growing vertical. And stats pages that built topical authority across automotive, energy and personal finance, driving organic rankings and earning backlinks from national press.
The result was a content engine that made Confused.com not just a comparison site but a trusted editorial voice in the verticals that mattered most to its audience and its commercial growth.
The Spark:
High authority national media coverage across consumer and financial press
FOI driven data journalism across key verticals including automotive and home to secure niche placements
Interactive tools and stats pages building organic authority and backlinks at scale

money.co.uk had the product and the ambition but needed the communications to match. I built and led a PR and content strategy that positioned it as a trusted, authoritative voice in personal finance, earning consistent national coverage and developing a thought leadership programme that gave the brand genuine credibility in a space dominated by much larger competitors. The result was a brand that felt established and trusted well ahead of its size.
The Spark:
High authority national media coverage across financial and consumer press
Thought leadership programme positioning money.co.uk as a go to financial commentator
Integrated PR and content driving organic growth
